  City of Charlottesville Toilet Rebate Program:
  For commercial properties built before 1994; limit of 2 toilets at these rates:
  $60 for each tank-type toilet replacement costing up to $100
  $80 for each tank-type toilet replacement costing over $100
  $80 per flush valve toilet replacement
  $80 per waterless urinal
  Albemarle County Service Authority Toilet Rebate Program:
  For multi-family and businesses; no limit to the numbers of toilets: $100 per toilet

• Albemarle County Service Authority Rainwater Harvesting Rebate Program:
  For residents, a rebate of $30 per installed RainBarrel is available. See the registration form here

• WaterSense Certified Label
  Similar to the EnergyStar label, products with the WaterSense label:
  • Perform as well or better than their less efficient counterparts
  • Are 20 percent more water efficient than average products in that category
  • Provide measurable water savings results
  • Can be identified by the WaterSense label
  • Obtain independent, third-party certification

  WaterSense products include toilets, bathroom sink faucets, urinals, and showerheads. There is also a program to label new residences as WaterSense homes.

  The EPA offers a calculator for residential-based savings. Their calculator can give an idea to commercial owners about the amount of savings that could be gained, particularly for high-traffic businesses such as restaurants.
